The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is a standardized assessment delivered in English that helps business schools assess the qualifications of applicants for advanced study in business and management. Schools use the test as one predictor of academic performance in an MBA program or in other graduate management programs.

Formats of the GMAT
The GMAT exam consists of three main parts, the Analytical Writing Assessment, Integrated Reasoning section, the Quantitative section, and the Verbal section. The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) consists of four timed sections. The remaining two sections (Quantitative and Verbal) consist of multiple-choice questions delivered in a computer-adaptive format. Questions in these sections are dynamically selected as you take the test, the multiple-choice questions will adjust to your ability level, and your test will be unique. The test starts with Analytical Writing Assessment, followed immediately by Integrated Reasoning section.

The Test has Four Sections:
1. Analytical Writing Assessment:

  • Analysis of an Argument
  • 300 Words -- 30 Minutes

2. Integrated Reasoning:
  • Multisource Reasoning.
  • Table Analysis.
  • Graphics Interpretation.
  • Two-Parts
  • Analysis.
  • 12 Questions -- 30 Minutes

3. Quantitative Section:
  • Quantitative Reasoning consist of
    1. Problem Solving
    2. Data Sufficiency
  • 37 questions -- 75 minutes

4. Verbal Section:
  • Verbal Reasoning consist of:
    1. Reading Comprehension.
    2. Critical Reasoning.
    3. Sentence correction.
  • 41 questions -- 75 minutes

GMAT score is valid for 5 years.
GMAT score is out of 800 & AWA 6 Bands.
Examination Fees for GMAT is US $250.
